St. Mary’s HealthFirst - HMO plan that team members are eligible for on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. B & J pays 80% of team member and 51% of dependent premium.

Dental Insurance - Eligible on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. B & J pays 80% of team member premiums and 51% of dependent premium. Insurance is with Ameritas.

AFLAC – Supplemental insurance for cancer protection, disability, personal accident expense, life assurance, personal recovery for certain serious illnesses. 100% team member expense. Available through payroll deduction.

Section 125 Premium Only Plan – Optional program allows employees on the medical plan, dental plan and some AFLAC programs to deduct the amount of the employee portion of the premiums from their paychecks on a pre-tax basis.

401k Plan - Eligible after one year of employment. Fully vested after six years.

Paid Vacation - Eligible for one-week vacation after one year of employment. Eligible for two weeks after three years and three weeks after five years.

Paid Holidays - Eligible after 30 days of employment. The holidays are: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day plus one floating holiday.

Tool/Company Logo Wear Purchases - Eligible immediately. Items purchased through B & J can be deducted over four pay periods.

Red Wing Shoes - Eligible immediately. B & J team members are eligible for discounts from Red Wing Shoes. Can be purchased with payroll deduction. See Administration or Purchasing for details.

Greater Nevada Credit Union Membership - Eligible immediately.

Direct Deposit - Eligible immediately to the bank of your choice.

Education & Training – We encourage team members to broaden their job-related knowledge by enrolling in outside educational courses and training. B & J will pay for the cost of tuition and books.

Longevity Awards – A $250 bonus will be given for each 5 years of loyal service.

Employee Assistance Program – An outside program that offers assistance in the areas of financial, legal, personal counseling and more.
